Can we extend the hire? ⏰
Yes. Call us as early as possible to request an extension. Extensions after 6pm will incur an extra charge. We aim to be flexible but must manage schedules and next-day collections.
We don't have a back gate — can we still hire? 🚪
Usually yes. We can move a bouncy castle through your house if there is a clear access route. We use a sack trolley to transport units. Please tell us about access at booking so we can plan.
What sizes and types of bouncy castles do you have available? 🎪
We stock a variety of sizes and styles for indoor and outdoor use. Options include:
- Small units for home gardens and indoor halls
- Medium family castles with simple themes
- Larger units for parties and events
Specify space and age range when booking so we match the right unit.
Do you offer delivery and setup services? 🚚
Yes. We deliver and set up at your event location. Our team secures each unit and checks anchors, blowers and safety mats before you use it.
What are your safety guidelines? ⚠️
Safety is our top priority. We provide a full checklist at delivery. Key rules include:
- Follow age and weight limits shown on the unit
- Always supervise children while in use
- No sharp objects, shoes or food inside the castle
- Do not use in high winds or heavy rain
- Set up on level ground and clear area of hazards
Can I change my booking? ✉️
Yes. To amend asset, date, location or add extras, email info@activesoftplay.co.uk as soon as possible. Changes may affect price and availability. Additional charges could apply depending on the amendment.
Could I cancel my booking? ❌
You may cancel at any time. The 25% deposit is non-refundable and will not be returned.
How does your pricing work? Is it hourly or daily? 💷
We charge a fixed daily rate as standard. We do not discount for shorter hire periods. Any extra services or late extensions are charged separately.
When do you drop off and pick up the bouncy castles? ⏱️
We use delivery slots for home garden hires. You select a preferred slot during booking. Collections are by 6pm as standard. Delivery time is a preference; we may arrive earlier if needed.
What payments do you accept? 💳
Deposit can be paid online. The balance is payable online up to 3 days before the event, or cash on delivery. We prefer online or card payments but will accept cash if required.
Do you have public liability insurance? 🛡️
Yes. We hold £2 million public liability insurance. This covers incidents from faulty equipment. It does not cover accidents caused by misuse or lack of supervision. Please read and follow our full terms of hire agreement before signing.
